Red Oak agent Dalia Juskys has a red-hot Oakland property that’s getting “mobbed,” and for good reason. The 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom home at 383 60th Street in the highly sought-after Rockridge neighborhood is listed at just $495,000, dramatically lower than the median sale price in the area, which is a whopping $1,337,500. SFGate has the reason why:

The owner purchased the property in the 1970s and hasn’t lived in the home in decades. Juskys said the owner held onto the house to remain in Rep. Barbara Lee’s district.

The home is in shambles with peeling paint, unfinished ceilings, torn-up linoleum and rotting hardwood floors.

“Either this is a teardown or it’s a huge massive fixer-upper,” the agent said.

There’s no heating and it doesn’t even have a workable kitchen.

“The only thing that’s livable is the bathroom,” Juskys added.

Want to check it out for yourself? The open house is Sunday, March 19, 2-4:30pm. Click here for more details on this home.
